Tomorrow (Monday) is my bake day and I’ve been thinking about making Parker House Rolls and freezing them for Thanksgiving. I’m wondering if I should just bake them and then put them on the counter to defrost all day on Thursday (we usually have dinner around 6) and then warm them in the oven or if I should put the dough in the freezer after they are formed and have risen. I’m also concerned if defrosting on the counter will be ok since they are made with buttermilk and egg. Do you have any suggestions?

Of course. I hope your rolls turned out well, and you have a great Thanksgiving!

Hi Theresa, sorry for the delayed response. I think your best bet is to bake and then freeze them. Then on Thanksgiving, you'll just need to defrost the baked rolls and warm them up just before dinner.
