Good morning to all! We've been enjoying some winter weather here. The weather looks to be pretty fair today, just icy from snow/rain the other day.

My kids had a snow day yesterday and were very excited. They trudged out in the snow to make a snowman--Adria holding a cute little pail with a scrap of garland and a carrot. With our bloodhound following close behind, I thought the poor snowman's nose doomed from the start. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later, Alina came inside looking for another carrot. I think now they understand why I'm always looking for sticks and pinecones for the faces of our snowmen.

That�s soo sweet!! The weather in NC has been all over the place this week! Monday temperatures were in the teens. Today it�s sunny, raining a bit and 60 degrees outside. Only in North Carolina!

Sounds like your weather is all over the map! It gets that way here around April or so. Warm one day, and snowing the next. Looks like for now our weather is going to remain pretty steady--just a little foggy but no snow or rain for a few days and not particularly cold.

I'm not sure that bread baking is on our agenda this weekend, but my girls were talking about making a lemon meringue pie and I was gifted an old serger this week, so I'm planning on firing it up and testing it out.
