Happy Tuesday to all! It seems as though everything is in season right now, so I've been plugging away at putting a few things up for winter. Last night, Brian and I finished canning the last ripe pears we had in our house. Next on our list is plum jam--we have over 30 pounds, with plenty more on the trees at the farm! Once we finish that, we might go back to pears because they are just so good!
Check out these beauties that were sitting on the kitchen counter when I arrived at the farm this morning:

Over the weekend, we had gorgeous weather and spent the weekend filling our garden with next years' garlic crop. Looks like we have just a couple more days of perfectly pleasant weather, and I intend to soak up as much as I can. 
Today is my day to feed all of the refrigerator mothers and I am going to be baking more Apple Braids recipe and Molasses-Oat Breads.
