Hi!
I've been wanting to make Sourdough Bread but I've never gotten around to it. My life has changed and I'm wondering if it will be possible for me to make sourdough bread since I now leave my home and my Bed & Breakfast business for 3 & 1/2 months to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Can you take the "mother" with you? Or will a different vicinity not work with a northern "mother".
I hope someone can help me with this question. Thank you.
Carole

Hi Carole,

You can definitely take your mother with you! It may take a little time to adjust to its new environment, but it will. I think something to think about with this is that if you're in the Refrigerator Mother stage when you leave, once you arrive in Mexico, you'll want to move back to the Counter Mother phase for a week or so to give your mother a chance to adjust to the change in location.
