Hi everyone, I am a senior heading towards 70 next year October. My Mom and her ancestors were farm girls so I have farm girl in my bones lol I have since I can remember gardened, preserved the harvest, and made most everything from scratch. I used to always make our own breads until I discovered I had celiac about 25 years ago. I have always been a good bakr-but baking gluten free yeast breads for me and a good pie crust has always eluded me. I am determined though to get this right.
I picked up Wild Bread and decided to try this especially since there was allot of gluten free information included.
I had better success but I didn't follow all the information exactly so it wasn't perfect-but I am not discouraged. I will ask some questions soon on the other topics.

Welcome Kathy from northeast Texas. I too am a senior - turned 76 in March. I'm a beginner baker and have been taking a break from bread making because of health - ready to get started again so ordering flour this week.

Lord put your arms around my shoulders and your hand over my mouth.
