I am enjoying my french bread - good flavor and good texture. It does spread out quite a bit while it is in the final rising. Does it still bake well if I put it in bread pans? Anyone tried this?

Hi Jan, I think the French bread would work well in a bread pan. Depending on the type of pan you're using, you might need to increase the baking time, because the loaf will likely be shorter and taller. Also, it might not be as crusty as a free-form loaf, but it will still be tasty.
