Read an article where someone presented the idea of making a breakfast focaccia, being that this bread is her favorite. It's one of mine, too. The more I thought about the idea, the more I liked it. So instead of brushing the top of the bread with evoo, use melted butter. Adding your favorite dried fruits, nuts and seeds, I'm using apricots, pecans, and sunflowers. Add in some spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and cloves, I'm all set for a wonderful experience. Why not?
I supposed you can put anything on top, as long as you enjoy it.
I'm off to the kitchen to make some today.
