I just completed week 4. My brown rice starter, while smelling and acting pretty normal when baking, has not bubbled at all. This week, it failed the test to see if it is refridg ready.

I am going to feed it another week, but wonder if the brown rice is hampering its ability to bubble. It does rise (in proofer) when converting to loaves on bake day.

Hi Gincey,
Just to make sure I understand, aside from failing the refrigerator test, has your mother been rising consistently when made into bread? Or did it stop bubbling at week 4?
