I started my Mother on Thursday, April 26. I decided to name her Victoria because I want to be “victorious” making my own delicious bread. Over the years I have tried making bread from scratch and have often been unsuccessful. I live in a forest of pine and cedar trees and hope to capture some good yeasts from my environment.

I think Belle is a great name for a mother. As soon as I read the name (I just can't help myself--my kids would roll their eyes), I thought "She'll be the Belle of the boule!"

I hadn't thought of naming my mother until I read this post. My mother was started today and I decided to name mine Belle since it will be making some beautiful breads!!

Sylvia, welcome to the chatroom! I hope you are victorious in your breadmaking. If you hit a snag, we will be here to offer encouragement. :) I imagine the air smells heavenly in your forest of pine and cedar trees!

Welcome Victoria and make beautiful Wild Bread.

Hadn't thought about naming my Mother. If I did it would be something country like Ma.
