Hi there!

My name is Ellie and I’m from central WA. I’ve been into making breads for quite a while now, but I’ve never ventured beyond commercial yeast…until now. Well, when I do things I do them with all I’ve got, so I currently have 4 sourdough starters I’m feeding—white whole wheat, unbleached white, quinoa, and brown rice. We’ll see how this goes! I look forward to joining this journey with all of you!

Hi Ellie, I appreciate your all-in approach! Having all four of your mothers going right next each other is a great thing. As each one pulls in wild yeasts from the air, they can "share" their yeasts with one another which will enhance their development. I look froward to hearing more about your Wild Bread journey!
